Wondering if anyone has any reports or experience with this caliber- I got one of the Proof Research- Summit Rifles and plan on using it on as my go to mnt rifle as I have a hunt booked with Coke Wallace in August this year for Dall Sheep and next year with Colin Neimer of Kawdy Outfitters In B.C. for mnt goat- I haven’t loaded any loads for it as it shoots Hornady factory 143 g into a jagged hole- thanks for the input- Hoping everyone has a great year- Mike

Fantastic sheep cartridge. I've killed a few with mine (Gunwerks ClymR w/Proof Barrel) shooting the factory 143 ELD x. You'll do fine with it...I have 2 Proof Summits (28 Nosler and a 22-250) that are tack drivers. Proof not only makes exceptional barrels, their finished firearms are first rate as well. You've got a couple great hunts to look forward to...Good luck!

Thanks that helps ease my apprehension I shot a mule deer with it at 480 yds made short work of that but the “unknown” is always outthere and worse in some of us- thanks again- I’m going to load some accubonds and see if I can get them to shoot

My wife shot her bull at 715 yards and I shot mine at 80 yards. She shot her deer at 342 and I shot my deer at 650 ish. All with 147 ELD-Ms

So looks like the ELD-M does a great job on more than paper-thanks for sharing I think I’m going to get some and try them
