Anyone running the Berger 130 Hunting VLD’s in their 6.5CM?

So I just ordered some and will be using h4350 and LR primers. Gun is a CA Mesa w/a 22” barrel.

Looking at various load data ranges I’ve seen some charge differences among manufacturers. Like Nosler shows a range of 39-43grs but Hodgdon shows a range of 35.2-39.2grs….so one’s starting point is the others max load? The only differences between the two is the Hodgdon shows a match primer and bullet seated deeper, so I assume it would get more pressure sooner? Both state using a 130AB.

My question is do these sound correct? Anyone running this bullet/powder combo and if so what’s your recipe?

I know start lower and work up….etc. not new to reloading at all. Just looking for more info before a start any load testing.

Email the contact on the Berger website and they'll send you the load data.

Thanks for the info..

I did email Berger and got a response very quickly with their load data. Doesn’t show H4350 but some of the other powders are close to what is shown on the Nosler data sheet.

Here it is for anyone else interested:

Iv loaded for a number of 130s in the creedmoor and normally 42-43 grain of h4350 is about where I ended up.

As always, work up.

Yep. That seems to be what I’m seeing from what I could find doing online searches.
