good morning , here is to a super day for you and yours.

if it were me i would want a longer barrel .

but i have no doubt it will shoot great with a 20.
i just built [well rebarreled] with a 243ai and i was really torn between 6 creed and 6 arc and 6x47

in the end it was about brass and i have a bunch of brass for 243. so for all its warts i went back with a 26in 243ai he chambered it to match my old brass and 3 shots from left over ammo shot a clover leaf.

that said i have a couple dozen 20 in barrels that shoot great [for paper punching]

What bullet weight are you planning to use?
Not sure. Starting with the 108 Berger Elite but may end up with something else when bullets get back in stock. Also have some lighter V-Max bullets for coyotes, 86gn I think.

Reason I ask is I am considering chopping it for a suppressor.

My 6CM is built on a SA Rem 700 with a Proof CFW barrel that is finished at 20. If you plan to run it suppressed I'd go short and run it somewhere between 18-22. This is my 6CM
