700 long action base... One piece

Had ordered an aluminum Badger through optics planet, but they back ordered long time. Like the reputation and recoil lugs.

They recommended Talley. No lugs here.

What y'all's thoughts on talley? They are 6-48 screws, so not the number 8s that are sometimes seen. Lugs all that necessary?

Bergara b14 hunter in 300wm. Hair over 7#. Putting Leupold 5hd 3-15 x 44 on it... 19 oz, I believe.

Recommendations on base. Have aluminum Badger 30mm rings coming.

I've got talleys on a 300 H&H 700 that have worked just fine for a long time...Leica ER 2.5 x 10 think is about the same weight, rifle is 7.9 lbs loaded and has stayed together.
