Looking for favorite loads for this bullet in 7mm-08. Also has anyone tried Alliant power pro 2000 MR powder for 120 grain projectiles ? I bought a pound of this to try out ,but have been unable to find any data on 120 grain loads for it.

Hornady and Sierra both have similar load data for PowerPro compared to Barnes. Basically, around 42 on the low end, bit over ~48 high end

I didn’t use the power pro but I had good results with varget in the 7-08. Think that load killed 4 deer that year.

I have one pound of Varget and bought the power pro because it is very close to Varget on the burn rate chart. Powder is very hard to get here in Alberta ,supply is extremely limited. My reloading manuals are too old to have listings for the power pro 2000 ,Thanks for the help.

Have had very good performance with Varget the 120s. I shoot a stiff load, near max, but it is a .5" load and hits hard.

2000mr with the ttsx 120 produced good accuracy and decent velocity. R15 ended up better all around but, I wouldn't have hesitated using the 2000mr if it's all I had.
