To anyone that loads or has loaded 175gr pills in 7mm, with acceptable 200 yard or less accuracy.

What kind of speeds are you getting?

What was the barrel length Powder used and twist?

thank you, just trying to get an idea of what to expect.

Off the top of my head, 1:9.25, 26" Shillen Match Grade barrel, 175 ABLR bullet, IMR 7828SSC. More accurate at 200 than at 100 yards. Commonly 2" or less at 200 yards when I do my part. Dial to 800 yards pretty easily. Haven't shot much beyond that. Unfortunately, I have not had an opportunity to shoot anything beyond rocks, paper and metal targets with it yet. Shoots at 2875 iirc.

Used to load 175 Speer Grand Slams and get ~2850 with IMR4831 in the 58gr range. 28” 9 twist Hart. I suspect a person could gain a little more with RL25 or the like. 7mm RM:

Thanks all!

I was hoping with Rl26 and a 26” 1 in 9 I could come pretty close to 3k with swift a-frames. Looks doable.

See pic. This batch got me to 3100 fps shooting 175 Berger Elite Hunter bullet. Notice the reverse Hornady imprint on the bolt face.

Getting smarter results around 2950 with no pressure signs.

Barrel is 1:9 rot and 25" length.
