I have the trinovids and they are some excellent glass for the money IMO. Buddy has some Meoptas but said the Leicas looked and felt better to him and I agree but as most optics each persons eyes are different.

Let us know what you think of those Meoptas. Which revision did you get?

B1.1 so like the original b1 but with a locking diopter and one more eye cup position. I think those are the two updates.

I ended up finding them new old stock...after calling and asking for a few bucks off and a gift card I had I paid $750 shipped. Not great, not bad....I don't really know but I think I'll be happy with them.

$750 for new old stock sounds like a bargain to me. Not too much changed between the b1.1 and the b1 plus, as I understand. New armor? I think someone may have mentioned improved manufacturing precision. Pretty small improvements I think.

"Tighter tolerances" I think is what it says on their website. And new armor...I'm kinda partial to the old style armor anyhow. For price difference the b1 plus CAN'T be that much better. Even at cameraland they're over $1300...

Agreed, great work finding yours for $750. Keep us posted on what you think of them after you've had a chance to use them a while. I'd be interested to hear what you think.
