As a buyer it is your responsibility to provide a safe secure delivery location. If a signature is required it can be a family member or a trusted neighbor. Sometimes lazy drivers don't get a signature. UPS or FEDEX or USPS will usually not pay a claim if the item is delivered and a porch pirate gets it. It's not a bad idea to contact your local delivery services and ask them to get a signature.
