One is a buddies 185 grain berger hybrid shot out of a 300 win into an elk at 300 yards 73.8 grains of bullet found In the far shoulder meat. (Tricep if you will)

the other is 160grain Accubond shot out of a 7mag at an elk at 35 yards 111.8 grain bullet found ready to pop out the hide on the far side...

thought it was interesting, maybe you guys will too.

The last time I shot a bull with a rifle he came in below me bugling at 25 yards. I stood there looking at him telling myself I should have a bow in my hands, so every year since I have. But over the course of the next few seconds of that encounter, I put four 175gr Partitions through him all at ranges from 8 yards to 25 yards before he went down. No bullets to recover, and not much meat to recover from his left shoulder.

I did recover a bullet from my daughter's ML bull. 199gr from a 338gr Powerbelt from 30 yards recovered against the offside hide. That's a lot of lead lost "somewhere" in the animal, hopefully we didn't eat it all.

I shot a whitetail buck last weekend with a AR-15 in 6.8 spc. I hand load 110 grain Nosler Accubonds at about 2560 fps. The deer was 70-80 yards away. The bullet entered high on the shoulder. Entrence hole was small, but the shoulder blade had a 2" hole in it. Bullet traveled at an angle towards the rear quarter and stopped just under the skin behind the last rib. About 20' of penetration. It retain 75% of it's weight. Lungs and liver were destroyed.

That's how the Berger is designed, should shrapnel inside the chest cavity. The "Hybrid" is designed to not be as sensitive to seating depth as the VLD. I use the VLD's in my 7 mag and 257 Wthby and I usually only find the back of the bullet if it hasn't exited. But the lungs and heart are soup.
