I am what I would consider a novice MZ guy. I have a .50 caliber Remington 700 MZ. Typically... what is most accurate, a .50 cal bullet or a .45 with a sabot? All I have ever really shot are the .45's. A Thompson Center 250 (I believe).. with 90 gr of pyrodex pets will shoot under 3" at 100 yards. Not super impressed with that and would like some info on how to improve its accuracy.

With my new 45 cal I switched from sabots to straight bullet to bore and it made a world of a difference for me. At 100 yards Iam cutting holes and at 300 yards I still have a great group about the size of a softball. I use the Lee hand sizer with Parker ballistic extreme bullets.
