I picked up a Columbia outdry ex featherweight jacket which I really like except that the waist of the jacket doesn’t have a shock cord to cinch down in the bottom hem and the elastic that is there isn’t as tight as I’d like it to seal out wind/rain. Is there a good way to attach shock cord to the hem without sewing? Since it’s a rain shell, I don’t really want to go cutting or sewing (and I’m not to skilled I’m this area anyway).
something like tenacious tape was the first thing that came to mind but I wonder how well it would hold up for that use
