So im looking at a new arrow build for next year. Im currently running easton axis realtrees 300 spine, with a tital set up weight of 518 gr. which unfortunately they dont make any more. Id like to keep the same or very similar GPI if possible. I notice the 260 spine axis are the same (11.5). The bow is a 70 lb draw at 29.5 in draw Bear compound. Im wondering if it would be beneficial or harmful to step up to that 260 spine. The other option is to runn the 300 spine and get a littlw more velocity. Current setup runs at 240 fps. Thanks for the advice

I would cut 300 back and little and add heavier HITS to get you back close to your current TAW.

I shoot Axis 300 @ 29 carbon to carbon, brass HIT 75gr chopped to 50gr, Heat vanes and with 100gr point they come in at 500gr or close enough for government work. Bowtech BT 31 @70# they shoot better than me. Also I found for me the 4 vane Heat vanes shoot in the same group as my 3 fletched Heats both (R) helical 3 degrees or so
