AK DIY Moose...can it be done?

I did it in '06 with Brownie at Yukon Eagle Air in Galena. We had to put in for a draw, and we were 1 of 2 but saw several moose. Brownie went to Africa for a few years to fly for the missions, and he's now relocated in Tok. The only other game in Galena now is Sportmsman's who's charging $7,000 for an outfitted drop hunt, 2 person minimum. I second contacting Larry Bartlett at Pristine Ventues. Larry is a straight shooter and he'll get you a good opportunity for a DIY hunt. Alaska Pike Safaris hunts the Innoko, and I think they have over the counter tags. Their DIY hunts are $6,500 and come with good reviews from others I know.
