I had a couple of heavy synthetic bags I bought at Walmart years ago. I don't use them backpacking, but they are useful for car camping or loaners to family. Got really tired of the cheap bags they came in popping zippers. Also have to formally roll the bags to get them to fit.

Enough already! Grabbed a couple of 35L Alps Mountaineering compression bags. Easy now to literally just stuff the bags inside, then cinch the straps to match the size of the original bundle. So much easier, faster, and nicer than using the original stuff sacks.

Agreed, those are very handy bags. I use an orange (20L) one for my sleeping bag and a little blue one (10L) for clothing.
