ice Had good luck with B&C stocks but I’ve had good luck with mcmillans too. I think B&C makes a good product for the money and it a worthwhile upgrade in most cases from factory plastic stocks.

I did exactly what you are doing with my 338 Win Mag Remington 700 XCR II--I replaced the factory stock with a B&C Alaskan II. It substantially improved my groups over the factory stock, using the same ammo for both.
