Ammo storage

Is ammo safe to store in ammo cans in fireproof gun safe thats in garage,has a dehumidifier rod inside so the temp is pretty consistent or would you store in the house?

I’ve been keeping mine in my old safe with a damprid dehumidifier thing in it for several years now without a problem. I’m in a pretty temperate climate with mild humidity but still a few blocks from the ocean. I change the dehumidifier stuff every couple months. I haven’t noticed any corrosion or have had any issues with this method.

i store in safe in garage with dehumidifier, and also inside my house in those large rubbermaid totes with dehumidifiers inside, and have had no problems.
