Not surprising in the least to me given people's increased penchant for outdoor activities post COVID-19.

We’re actually having a rough time of it out here this summer. There was an incident at Gertrude Creek two days ago and about two weeks ago at Brooks falls. Both cases were very aggressive bears but no blood was spilled. I haven’t spoken to the guide in the latest incident yet.

Just look around at people in society and all the attacks we've had over the last year+ in all walks of life.......even just walking down the sidewalk. Would you expect bears to behave any better than human beings? In all truthfulness.......given where our society seems to be today.......ya, I guess I would expect better behavior from animals.

Kinda wondering if the late spring we had has anything to do with the bears being a little ornery this year.

a couple buddy’s got charged by a sow and 3 Cubs up on Rez pass a few weeks ago. luckily they were able to spray it and it took off.
