Another new guy from the flat lands of texas.

New to Western hunting been reading and watching about it for most of my life. I moved to Houston a year and a half ago from coastal North Carolina. I now live within a some what manageable drive to the out west states to try it out. Got drunk and agreed to go hunt Nebraska for mule deer this year applied and got a Platte unit mule deer tag. So i get to try and get slowly started into western style hunting this year. I want to start trying to check off species and locations off the list. Any advise besides don't do it i'm open to. I looking forward to learning and possibly meeting some of y'all.
