Any advice on removing fleathers from a footed arrow

Trying to removed the feathers from a footed arrow with out damaging the footing. It’s not a wrap, is paint I believe?

I take you mean crested arrow. There really isnt a good way to remove them without messing it up. Better off stripping it an starting fresh

That sucks. I just got a new bow and the feathers on my arrows at falling apart so I figured I’d reflech them all.
Yes crested not footed.

You might try heating the area with a blow dryer and then carefully scraping the adhesive residue off with a sharp knife.

i would just strip with a knife and throw a vinyl wrap over it.
If your going to do this a lot, i would recommend you try fletching tape rather than glue
