Where I hunt we usually shoot Canadians. What would you say is the best weather for a morning goose hunt? I would say a low fog, snow and cold weather but what do you think?

Ducks with the occasional Canada mixed in.

Best for me is as cold as possible with a little wind and socked in by low hanging clouds.

It's canada geese not canadians just to be accurate. I know that it makes sense to say canadians but it isnt correct. Anyway, enough of the lesson. In WI I have had the best luck when hunting good weather. The bluebird days seem to keep the geese on their pattern of going to the fields in the morning and they are usually like clockwork. The overcast days are usually better for the evening hunt just because the geese tend to arrive earlier and during legal shooting hours. Bad weather can also keep the geese in the field longer becasue if it's raining they wont have to fly back to the lake to get water.
