So I have an older Remington 1100 20gauge that needs a new barrel. I shot steel shot thru it like 15 years ago and cracked the barrel, it has sat in my safe ever since and I dug it out the other day. Looking for a replacement barrel, and am a little confused to exactly what model I have.

I'm pretty sure mine is not a lightweight version
Im pretty sure mine is a 20 gauge on the 12 gauge frame
The barrel it wore was a non vent rib model with fixed chokes

Beyond that I don't know anything else, I will attach some pic of the proof marks on the barrel and the guns SN. Any help locating a replacement barrel would be appreciated.

1100 Standard. Not the LT or light as some list. Corson’s has none, Barrel exchange has 3 plain full choke barrels at $295 each. There are a couple on ebay for around 500. Obviously be careful of ads on ebay that dont specify, many sellers are unaware of the details. If you shoot steel need to have tubes put in for full choke guns. I have used Carlson’s in Kansas to do that on multiple barrels. Check ebay and gun broker as well. You can date the barrel and gun from the barrel code and serial number. The prefix M indicates that series started in 1974 and ended in 1977. The X is the model Which is the heavy or standard frame. Barrel code I think indicates 1975 manufacture.
