If so do you take on commissioned work? I have a project idea I want to get completed. Skill level I think would be on par with carving a smooth body duck or such, not intricate work of feathers, etc.

Sorry, I'm not a carver. But your thread title struck me as very funny.

My maternal grandfather died before I was born so never met him. But I sure wish he had been around when I was old enough to learn. He was incredible at carving stuff. I have some of his stuff. He even carved monkeys out of peach seeds. I wish I'd inherited some of his talent.

Nice. My uncle was taking on this project for me but passed this spring unfortunately.

Not really carving, but a buddy of mine has a CNC wood router that would probably do the trick. Would just need a picture of the design so he can upload it into the system. He can do some pretty amazing things.
