Looking at an Osprey dry bag (actually a backpack liner) and wondering if it will the blood from getting on my pack? Also thinking will need to go with the 61L? Also looking at the Sea to Summit (evac) 65 liter. Feedback if they do the job?

in I know there are other options....like who cares about blood on your pack....trash bags etc.

Thx

If you use a dry bag, then you have to clean the dry bag. I just use white trash compactor bags (3mil). But I generally carry all my meat on the load shelf outside the pack bag.

Get it out of that dry bag asap after the pack out, your meat will spoil.
Some garbage bags and compactor bags are treated, do not use them for your meat.

To me, dry bags are for your gear to not get bloody

Game bags are to put game in and let it breath.

yup...Looking at packing quarters out for maybe a half hour to a few hours max. Most likely with snow on the ground. Scenario would be that I am solo or can't use my rope winch. If I go any longer than that they will go in a caribou bag.
