Generally they don't apply to guns ammo or gift cards, but I will say that I just used one on some ammo and a dog kennel and it worked on everything. I have always gotten discount codes from them by adding the items I want to the cart and go through the whole process, just don't submit the order. Leave and then in a day or 2 you will get an emailed code. Try that and if it doesn't apply to the rifle try adding something it does apply to, to your cart and see if it works on the whole thing.
