I’ve been using my Swarovski SLC 7x30 (not typo) for about 30 or so years. I’ve tried some others and keep going back to these. Plenty enough magnification even in the wide open of Alaska or Greenland and plenty bright with a tremendous field of view hunting Whitetail in MS where you’re not going to see much over 50 yards.
I have a spotting scope but rarely ever use it.

My big wish is that Swarovski made a compact rangefinder binocular that would range down to 10 yards

Another Cabelas/ Meopta Euro HD 8x32 user here. Elk and muleys out west, Kansas whitetails, Tennessee turkeys, just about ideal for all. A small spotter is handy.

Thanks,
Nick

i like 8x42's...I could be wrong but they are super bright, I use maven c1's

I had 10x42 and WAS gonna get 12's...

but dang 8x are plenty! and FoV is great. no problem glassing small deer in shrubs 400-600 yrds away through my dirty bedroom window late afternoon/ early evening. I can see easily see 4x4 fence posts 1000yrds away.
