Okay, so when i hear "cashmere" I think dressing up, not hunting, but hear me out. I have a cashmere sweater my mother in law bought me years ago that I have worn to work over a dress shirt and tie for years when its cold. It is a little ratty looking at this point so I doubt I will wear for work anymore, but I know it was expensive and I hate to throw it out. It is incredibly warm for its weight and I was just wondering how it would work as a hunting midlayer. No idea if it has the same anti-bacterial/stink properties as merino (yes I know its from a goat not a sheep) but it seems like it might work. Anyone done this?

I thought l read somewhere that cashmere was just like Marino. I'm curious too.

I run a cashmere scarf when it’s really cold. Softest damn material ever and it’s extremely warm.

$2 from goodwill. Old enough that it says “made in WEST Germany”
