Which ranch? DIY, semi-guided, fully guided? Pictures? Thanks.

I know of a number of people that have happily hunted with him. I booked with him fully guided for February 2021.
Fully Guided. 4D south ranch.

Can’t go wrong with Muley Mike as stated, or Matt Cousins at 4pineranch. They both have killer properties for free ranging west Texas dads

Good info on this thread. I am looking into an Aoudad hunt myself down the road.

KHNC and Bird-man,
How did your hunts go?
Just starting to plan an auodad Hunt. Any details you can provide on your experiences is much appreciated. Style of hunt, physicality, guide quality, game quality/abundance, etc.
Thanks in advance.
All 3 of us tagged out on nice rams in two days. Sorry, i just saw this. Larry actually posted he has a couple cancellation openings for march this year. He always runs 100% on free range rams. Not a very physical hunt. In Palo Duro Canyon texas.

Yep Mike is a solid guy. I’m hunting that ranch for Aoudad in the spring and hunted Mule Deer there for a week last fall if anyone wants to know the skinny
I'd like to know what you thought of the Sawyer Ranch for Mule Deer season. I just got back from there and it's a lot of country.

Short Track, you might be able to pull year around typical weather for Van Horn or Marfa from Chamber of Commerce websites. January can be really variable, but I would hazard that typical night time temps are in the upper 20's and low 30's going into the low 60's during the days. It can be brutally cold if you are dealing with 20 degree temps and 20 or 30 MPH winds. Under those conditions the inside of a pickup works quite nicely.

Ive hunted that area the last three years and this is spot on really. You could be in a t shirt mid day. Which makes the low 30s after sunset feel more like 10 to me because of the dramatic drop.
