Hi there, I'm shooting a 70 pound compound bow, my arrows are gold tip pro hunters 29 inches long. I'm wondering what's best a 100 or 125 g5 striker x. With 100 grain broadheads my foc is forward 14 %. My arrow weight is 310 without broadhead. Mostly for big mulies but maybe an occasional elk or moose. My max shooting distance is 35 yards.

That's going to depend on where the arrow tunes. For the weight of your tipless shaft I'm guessing it's a 300 with small fletching or feathers? If you have a higher IBO bow I'd likely be using the 100 grain so you aren't pushing the spine. If a slower model probably 125 would be fine.

Your foc sounds off for a 300 spine gold tip with 100 on the front. But I wouldn't worry much about that number, keep it 9.5-10 or higher.

GT calcs show your FOC to be around 9% with 100gr head, but like @Billy Goat mentioned dont even worry about this number. If you can get away with the 125gr head in tuning I would use that TAW as a starting point. Inside of 35yds you could arguably shoot both heads and never tell much of a difference in your POI shift.

It is a ross competition compound bow. It's max dra weight is 70 and that's what it's set at. That's all I know
