I don’t know if I like receiving these updates from Luke or not! It’s like you know what’s under the Christmas tree but can’t open until Christmas!

It looks like it will be a sub 10 pound gun when it is said and done

Update....

I picked up the rifle today from my FFL dealer. It came shipped in a hard plastic rifle case and came with the following-
15 300 XLD bullets
25 primer modules
20 powder tubes
Deprime station
Loading funnel
Lee Handpress with swinglock die (already setup for my rifle/bullet
Thinwall 1/2" socket (Craftsman) to remove breech plug

All of this comes in a Stanley tool bag. Perfect for keeping all of your muzzleloader stuff together.

Fit and finish of the rifle are top notch. First impression are "its worth the money" Im hoping to take it out tomorrow morning weather pending. If it shoots as good as it looks, then we will be in business

Nice!

RELIEF FINALLY!!! Now I know the feeling eating at you, just waiting to get it out on the range :)

I sent some of the 300gr XLD bullets today doing a Satterlee test. Learned a couple things in the process.

Now...……… lets see a couple targets ;)

Looks good Travis! I can't wait for mine! Kinda jealous.

Curious what happened with this pic? I looked at the others and they look normal. This pic the barrel looks funny.
You are right, it does. Im guessing iPhone portrait mode made it look funny.

took the rifle out this morning, getting it sighted in and started shooting a 3 shot group. first two were touching, then I ran a patch down the barrel and was going to come back for a fourth shot, well that shot hit a the rock I was using on the back side of box I was using as a target. It exploded my target! ill use a bigger box next time. pics to come soon.
