Athlon Ares 15-45x 65mm vs Meopta HS75 20-60?

I am looking at purchasing a used Spotting scope and have found a "like new" Athlon Ares (I believe the first model with ED glass) for $450. I have also found an older Meopta 75 with a 20-60 eye piece in "good" condition (I dont believe it is the HD model) for $625. I already have a Meopta scope that is great and would love to buy the European glass, but this scope is much older and has some noticeable wear compared to the Athlon. Warranties aside, which is the better deal?

Wound up getting the Athlon for a steal ($300). Eventually I will get some premium glass, but for now the spotter looks great and not extremely far off from my Leica or Meopta glass.
