What does everyone consider average accuracy for a regular production muzzaloader? I am trying to get my TC triumph to shoot BH 209 with all types of loads and am not impresses.

Make sure you chip the carbon from the flash channel, buy hand with a 1/8" drill bit. BY HAND.
110grs VOLUME of BH and depending on the tightness of your barrel, either a Barnes 250gr TMZ or T-EZ bullet with either the CCI209M or Federal 2090A should shoot excellent.
Other associated equipment must be correct.

I have done that exact everything today and it seems to shoot tight then throw a few. Average 4 or 5 shots will be 3 in. I even try running a dry patch between shots. If I don’t run a patch poi will start changing.

I've seen and actually had many TC rifles that the POI would change after the second round, then group just fine.
Start back with the basics. Mounts, rings, scope checked and double checked and torqued to spec. Proper rock solid rest. Operator mounting the rifle exactly the same each round. Finger placement on the trigger identical each time. Be sure to let the barrel cool between rounds. Seat the bullet hard on the propellant with a two handed "thump".
Try adjusting your charge 5grs higher or lower.
Make certain the scope tracks properly.

In 2017 my daughter was shooting 2" groups with open sights with my T/C Omega with BH209 and a couple different conicals from a benchrest at 100 yards. I thought those were pretty impressive, but knew she wouldn't need to take shots anywhere near that far for elk season.

Is this 100 yards? What are you using for a bench rest?

What is your goal? 3" groups at a 100 yards will kill an elk even if we prefer tighter.

I also know 3 inches at 100 yards is good enough for a muzzleloader but of course yeah I do want better

The wifes TC IMpact shoots 1" groups at 100 yds with 90grs BH209, Federal 209A primers, just about any 250gr bullet in a black Harvester crushed rib sabot. Maybe, the same sort of load would work in that Triumph?

I’ve never done better than 3” with production CVAs, cleaning the flash channel with a 1/8th inch drill bit every cleaning helps ignition quite a bit. I hear about people drilling that flash channel out, I’ve never tried that though. Seems...dangerous, kinda like drilling out a primer pocket. 💥

Knight Mountaineer. Barnes 250gr spit fire MZ. 100gr BH209 by volume. Federal 209A. At 100 yards my 3 shot group is touching. Swabbing barrel every 3 shots.

Try Hornady SST. With 85 grains by weight of 209 I get three 2/3 shots touching at 100 all day long.

I am using the original breech plug. Using Parker 300 grain match hunter with their sabots as well. 100 grain by actual weighed weight 209 blackthorn

I get around 1 moa with 209 and remington ultimate out to 450 yds. Parker Bullets

My UML I couldn't get it to group for the life of me. It was keyholing the supplied 250 gr bullets and the best I got out of was just over 1.5 MOA at 100 yards with the same powder charge I used in my traditions muzzleloader. It is currently getting rebarreled at AGS. Should have done that a while ago and saved on powder and bullets.

It'll shoot much better if you change to the AGS Gen2 plug.
They really like heavy charges that make the bullets obturate well, which gives the best accuracy, especially at long range.
