This will be my first ever Javelina hunt & I'm pretty excited.
Leaving next Wednesday for a few days.

I ended up drawling hunt 5081 (15C, 15D, 16A) area just around Kingman.
My buddy drew 18B

Any recommendations on places to check out?
Been told they love to stay warm on sunny hillsides.
Really appreciate any help, thanks.

Bring a predator call. If you see them you can call them in. Also, if you stalk in and get busted, get on your call immediately, they will come in and lick your boots.

I hunted them once. We used predator calls. If you know there are pigs in the area and you start to call be ready they come a running. If you listen you may even hear them chompin their teeth as they come in.

I've hunted them quite a few times some years ago with bow and pistol. Not to much advice other than to use the wind in your favor and glass. I think I've enjoyed Javelina hunting as much or more than anything else. Have a good time!
