AZ Unit 8 Cats and Bears

Heading out to AZ with my dad at the end of the month for late season elk. Going to pick up a mountain lion tag in case we glass one up while looking for elk...Also, if we tag out early (being optimistic), might try some predator calling. Not looking to buy an electronic call or pay a houndsman because the elk hunt has left us with a limited budget. However, I’d love to come home with a lion. If anyone has any tips for calling lions or other tips please let me know. PMs welcomed. Can’t find much info on black bear tags on AZDFG website either, worth picking up a tag if they are OTC there? Are they hibernating by 1st week of December? I’m from IL this is all very foreign to me any tips appreciated. TIA.
