With ultralight everything, sawing handles off toothbrushes (or not bringing them), etc. what is a creature comfort you drag with you regardless of the weight penalty? IE fingernail clippers, book, bourbon, anything goes

Applesauce. For some strange reason it tastes 4x better on the mountain and I don’t mind carrying what is essentially water weight.

If it’s going to be really wet or snowy crampons have a few extra pounds of weight, but make going up and down soft slopes faster and safer. Many western Wyoming mountains are essentially old mud beds with some sandstone here and there, but slick mud is way too common between trailheads and timberline. It’s crazy being able to walk right up a slope so steep if you were to fall down you’d slide at high speed all the way to the scene of the crash. lol

I'm going to find a way to carry my raw honey with me this year, regardless of the weight. I eat a lot of it throughout the day for energy and it makes me happy!
If you don't have a chamber sealer, find someone who does and vacuum seal in small bags. You cut a small end off it and suck it or squeeze it out.

A Crazy Creek camp chair (or similar UL brand) to sit around the campfire and an UL sil tarp to sit under if bad weather. Really makes a difference in relaxing in camp at night not confined to standing all night or hunkered in a tent if raining.

Seriously who brings toothbrush’s chopped or not?

In all reality my cell phone is definitely my weight/luxury item. I know it has navigation, books and even movies but it reality I can do without 2 of 3. I would even dare to say (I know boyscouts) I could live without a map in most places I hunt in the west.

Before I quit drinking I would always bring a few beers, really enjoyed a cold(or warm) one after a long day, or sitting on a peak wondering where all the elk are.

An orange. I know calories per ounce it’s probably as bad as it gets, but there’s something about having fresh fruit after a week of dehydrated garbage that really can brighten my day.

A sponge. There is a thread on here essentially asking what do your bring that is priceless, but which you would think you would never bring. Someone said a sponge. I bought one from Amazon that I swear can soak up 55 gallons of water in under a second and weighs less than a few grains of powder. Lots of uses.
