Barrel Rebore

I have a Ruger 77 RL tanger in .243 Win that I'm thinking of having rebored and chambered to 7-08. Does anyone have any recommendations for a smith that they would consider for the job. If so, could you please post or PM me with contact info? Thanks for any and all help. Tim

Thanks, I'll give him a call. Others have stated that he doesn't rebore smaller than .338. I'll verify with him.

i believe i talked to them about a .243 to .30 cal job. it just never happened.

JES arguably has the best reputation for re-bores.

I just had JES redo a 30-06 to 338 and the turn around time was very quick. Definitely give him a call. Leave a message and he’ll get back to you.

I don't think jes will rebore to 7mm, only to 338 and larger, I'd suggest Oregun.

I have used Classic Barrel and Gun Works in AZ to go 30-06 to 35 Whelen. They were good to work with.
