Basic Question about Outdoorsman Tripod mounts

I have a black Ovis tripod on the way and I know I need the Bino adapter and stud. Do I need BOTH of these Arca plates or just one or the other? I know the tripod is Arca Swiss compatible but I’m not sure what if I need both of these plates or just one or the other.

You can mount your bino adapter directly to any 1/4" arca adapter. What tripod head are you running?

You will screw in the bino adapter directly to the top of the arca plate that comes with your tripod. You should only need the bino adapter post.

I have the second item in your cart and it might be a little more that just a flat ARCA plate, but it's scalloped on the bottom and so light I don't even notice it's there. It also keys to the bino adapter post so it won't unscrew.
