Hammer0419, another thing to consider with the pyramid tarps as far as size goes is the angle of the walls and useable space.

The beauty of having a tie-out up on the side walls and back wall is that this creates vertical walls on the lower 1/2 and more livable space when conditions are not crazy windy. When you do create vertical walls though for more useable space, this makes the shelter effectively narrower and shorter...so consider that when doing your calculations of how much space you need.

One can also in less than 30 seconds walk around the outside of the shelter in very windy conditions to release the side wall tension some while tightening up the perimeter tie-downs for more wind stability and more of a pyramid sloped wall shape.

The Duomids look good, but I have never seen one in person. I do have the MLD bear/food hanging kit, and it is simple, sturdy, and works great.

The sealed seams is a plus vs having to do your own (PITA) as well as customized options such as the bug netting. Mike7 good review on the 4. Thanks.
