I tried doing that EXACT type of mount once by myself... After I salted and let them dry out awhile I hung it up in the house and about two weeks later bugs started falling out from behind the feathers. The wife made me throw it out, LOL. Sorry, those pictures just brought me back 10 years and had a little laugh.

Borax, my man...it's better than salt. And let them sit in the garage(or wherever) for a long while. I've always heard at least a month.

Like I said (or didn't actually :) )

I had no clue what I was doing. They sat in a barn for three months.
