Bend-able Bugle tube holder

Just got the Bully Bull Extreme bugle and the medium Bend-able bugle tube holder. Has anyone successfully rigged this on a Stone Glacier pack? The hip belt won't work for me - and attaching to the side straps it angles inward and I can't reach it. Any other options out there? Nothing has ever beat my old Eberlestock pack with the rifle holder pocket

The rifle quick release rifle holder actually works great. But I don't want to quick release my bugle maybe I can do something similar though.
