Probably have about 60-80 rnds through this gun ahead of my muley season next month in the eastern sierras (once in a lifetime tag for me).

At the range today, my salmon river brake came loose. Probably the reason I couldn’t quite get my zero “perfect”. Me being hesitant to use the brake at all now knowing it will/ can come loose, especially on such a low percentage tag. Wondering if I should just throw the radial stock break or thread protector back on instead and get my zero again to be confident?

Or, am I over thinking this and just get the salmon river snugged up and move on?

I would red locktite it or rockset it and not worry about it.

Red locktite might be the move. It’s a self timing brake but it’s the first time it’s ever happened to me on any rifle.
