Sold Bergara Premier 280AI

A now discontinued and very rare Bergara Premier Stalker in 280AI. 24” barrel, 3.7”+ mag box, carbon fiber stock (I confirmed with Bergara that the stock was made by AG composites). Barrel and action are stainless steel and cerakoted black. Weighs exactly 7.00 lbs on my scale, muzzle diameter is .6”. 9 twist. Exactly 40 rounds of factory ammo down the barrel. As you can see, aside from some very light marks on the bolt handle, it’s pert near perfect. Fit and finish is IMO superb. Test target from Bergara is a .66 three shot group with nosler factory ammo (140 accubond). I have two boxes of the nosler trophy grade 140 accubond ammo, 100 pieces of once fired brass (not all from this rifle, obviously), and rcbs dies that I’ll be listing separately that could go with the rifle. Note, the rifle includes the bases that are on the rifle. They may have been locked on at the factory as they are VERY tight. I didn’t want to strip the threads so I haven’t removed them. Oh yeah. I recall. The biggest mistake Bergara made, in my opinion, is concluding "nobody will ever want one of our rifles in 280 AI or 7/08 again". Too bad for we .284 fans. I've been looking for a Premier Mountain in 280 AI for years now. The search continues. Good luck with your sale.
