I really like the 300 norma improved. I think that my might also be my next build, or the Lapua improved. If you think about it I'd like to hear how your 300 norma improved turns out and what your getting for ballistics.

I was really considering the Atacr 4-20 but the more I look at specs I think I'm leaning either with the 3.8-18 MK5 or the NX8 4-32.

My 27” 300 Norma Improved shoots wonderfully with the 215 Berger at 3225 and the 230 Berger at 3095 fps both with Retumbo. It just may be my favorite do all long range hunting rifle and I have several really nice custom rifles.

Those are some nice numbers. I really like the thought of that 230 as an elk thumper!

My rifle was built by Hells Canyon Armory, it’s a Defiance Deviant with hunters cut rail, 27” HCA carbon barrel (shown brake is a Piercision but I currently use a Live Oak delta brake), stock is a JCS Tactical, (debating trading it out for a more hunting oriented stock) m5 dbm fed by Accurate mags, trigger tech.

Shoots the 230 OTM loads pretty well at 200 yds. Lol
