I've only used two bullets in my 300 WSM, Accubond and Barnes TSX. I may be unusual but the Accubond has given me better performance.

I’ve had incredibly reliable performance from accubonds!

I use the 180 gr Accubond in mine. I've only shot one bull with them so far, but it was a one shot deal.

I've slowly been buying up different ammo from different brands but mostly 180g. Ill be testing them all put soon and will have to send in for my custom turret dial once I pick which one my rifle likes but I did find some federal, nosler accubonds, partition, etc.. man that nosler stuff ain't cheap but neither is an elk hunt so I won't cheap out with the ammo, lol.

Ammo is the cheapest expense on your hunt. Don't skimp and shoot crappy bullets.

Accubonds 200 gr for me. Punched through a shoulder, went through internals and captured in backhide. Perfect mushroom. Barnes are great too.

I do reload. I use it over 4831sc in one rifle and rl22 in another. I think both are from the nosler manual as a starting point. I can double check though.

Like finding unicorn droppings, but get ahold of some 200gr Terminal Ascent bullets once they ever show back up on the market. The factory Terminal Ascent loads have shot well through a lot of rifles. Ymmv
