Best bet would be the Promaster X-CM522 or 525. Lots of great feedback on Rokslide on these.
Give me a call to discuss and get the special Rokslide pricing

Vortex High Country. Knock off about 3 sections of leg. You won’t impress anyone with it for damn sure.

After I bought my Kifaru timberline pack I did a lot of research to find a tripod that would fit in the side pocket when folded up. The only one that I could find at the time was a mefoto brand. The only think I don’t like about it is it is a twist lock, but it has worked great for a lot of years now.

IDK, I just use mine the way it came, nothing added, but I did eliminate the center pole that gives a additional 14” or so of height. I think that it would be plenty stable enough for your 65mm. I use it for my little Kowa, but I’ve also thrown my, much heavier, Swaro 80mm on it without issue. Although if it starts getting windy, you probably will have stabilization issues with the bigger scopes. Pretty hard to beat the weight of this thing, that’s for sure.

I second the Aoka. I use it with my Athlon Ares 65mm spotter. It extends tall enough to use while sitting down.

I like my promaster 522. Got it for about $130 with a ball head. Works for the 15s and the 65 equally well.
