Used quite a few knives over the past 30 plus years of field care of multiple species. Even tried some of the new replaceable blade knives - which have their place. For my money, Benchmade and Knives of Alaska stay in my pack. They are the two brands that have proven themselves in edge retention, durability, and ergonomics. Warranty for as long as you own them sort of like the Vortex Warranty, no fault. Break it they replace it. period. My 2 cents

The 60a blades you might find cheaper elsewhere if you shop around.

The gut hooks come in the little boxes and I just started putting blads in them. The gut hook I wasn't impressed with due to all the hair they cut. It's the only gut hook I've ever used, so not sure if they all do that.

Thank you
