What's the thoughts on this chronograph? I see a lot of Lab Radar and Mangeto talk but none about this one.
I've been using mine for several years and no problems that I know of. Always shooting factory ammo having wide SD's and ES's I assumed was normal. I'll be reloading soon and if this is not a sufficient chronograph I need to get another.

if you are happy then keep it.

the only reason for the fancy ones are the convenience of faster set up and no need to go down range.

I would say if you trust your chrony and find it to give accurate and consistent velocities, stick with it and spend the savings on better reloading kit. When you start reloading I would use it to check for nodes, you can PM me if you want more information on developing a load, or use any method you find on the internet provided you start low and work you way to max charges.

I got the magneto and after some use it seems that muzzle flash chars the bayonet portion of the unit. I guess time will tell if that becomes and issue or not.
