Picked up a 26" bikini frame and Tahr.
Saw a video from Kifaru that said the Tahr was good for 22, 24 , and 26.

Cant really see a good way to attach the bottom of bag to the frame.

I thought their bags and frames were plug n play , interchangeable from things I've read and watched.

Seems like there is a fair amount missing to get this bag put on and secured properly though.

On another note, I purchased a SO horizon stay to velcro in between to help with barreling. Seems like a economical improvement for now.

There should be three slots on the back of the bag, run the load lifter out the top slot and not the middle.

I would take the 3 bar slider out of that triangle common loop and hook it on the tab that has the female buckle, on the older frames the triangle common loop was intended for a grab it.
How is the bottom of the bag attached to the frame? I do not have a tahr but have used multiple Kifaru bags on different Kifaru frames. But it should be similar.

Thanks, this is a first Kifaru for me.
I've been using Exo and seek outside. Just wanting to play around with some used gear.

I didn't know these side SR buckles could be removed! So that makes sense now. I'll make these couple changes and play around with the bottom in the morning.

The 3 bar sliders on the bottom of this bag do not reach the plastic common loops on the frame like other bag videos show.

I do not have that bag or frame but whenever the metal 3-bar slider doesn't reach the common loop I use double sided Velcro 1" wide to make any length connection needed between them.

Made some changes like mentioned.
For now I have the bottom attached like this. Using the lower compression straps.
Works for compressing and closing off the bottom too.
I got some 3 bar sliders and 1 inch webbing off Amazon and ordered some 1 inch gatekeepers from Marsupial gear. I think they are one inch anyways.

Side note:

Also not sure what's going on with Tapatalk.
Every photo I've uploaded lately ends up getting turned 90 degrees.

That should work just fine how it’s attached now. Same way I have attached the bottom of the packs to the frame.

Still playing around with this little project.
Some progress of a little clean up.
Used a couple tri glides to make use of the top two diagonal Tahr straps for a handle.
Not sure what they are for but this works for now as a handle / repair gear storage.
Cut off a couple females off top of bag I'm not going to use for now.

It definitely is a nice plug n play option.
It's wider than it should but not a problem. The picture I have is about as low as you can go with it on a bikini unfortunately and still have velcro to work with.
