Damn near always have a tripod on every hunt. If space and weight is key, then I grab my Slik 625 with Jim White head. Works fine for lighter optics but if my STX 95 comes out then my Manfrotto 290 Xtra gets the nod.
Used my tripods to glass, use as a rifle rest (front and rear), frame for shade, trekking pole, etc.
