Bird dog groin protection?

My Weimaraner is having some skin trouble lately. She logs multiple daily miles in tall, dry grass. Her skin gets raw between her rear legs, on her underbelly, after her chest tapers. All our hunting vests just don't cover the lower rear half of the dog. The vet has given us some magic spray that helps, but the problem is mechanical, I'd like to get some physical protection. I've looked at a few products online and have yet to be impressed.

Anyone have an elegant solution to the problem?

I've never seen anything that didn't look like it would cause problems of it's own. I've also never seen a dog that actually seemed to be bothered by the situation.
