I have no nest or insert for my Eolus, just the tent, it’s shape doesn’t lend itself towards use as a tarp.

What I meant was he may just be referring to the single wall Eolus as a tarp, so as not talking about the insert, etc. I have a handful of different shelters, non of which I use anything with other than a bivy sack and sleeping system, and I often just refer to them as a tarp, they’re just a shaped tarp is all, not flat.

The way the Eolus is designed, it was to minimize condensation, thus the vestibule ends being slightly raised. The inner , that it couples with , is in my opinion , our nicest inner, and does a really good job blocking breezes but allowing air flow. The combo has done very well in condensation in our testing. The inner is large enough for two tall men
